ACCOUNTING MANAGER

What Matters Most:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Deltek or Ajera are highly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance strongly preferred.

Join this talented team of creatives as an Accounting Manager. This role combines project-based accounting with some HR administrative duties to form a meaty position that will see you liaising with departments all over the company. You’ll be responsible for all company accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements – you name it!

Tracking projects, budgeting, managing payroll and benefits, and supporting principals and project managers with accounting support they need, will also be a part of your daily activities. SENIOR LANDSCAPE DESIGNER/ARCHITECT & PROJECT MANAGER

A Senior Landscape Architect & Project Manager will collaborate in a team environment to manage projects, subconsultants, junior staff, as well as participate in marketing, business development efforts, design, and coordination. This individual demonstrates creativity, foresight, and maturity in design judgment when anticipating and solving design complexities and has the ability to communicate/present ideas relating to a variety of challenging planning and design projects. It is essential to pass on your knowledge to others and support a continuous learning environment. Team building and motivation are also key responsibilities.

Requirements: 

–        Undergraduate or graduate degree in Landscape Architecture

–        10+ years of experience in the profession of Landscape Architecture and Design

–        Passionate about sustainable development and urban design

–        Business Development/Marketing experience

–        Proficiency in all typical software applications for landscape architecture

–        Strong graphic communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

–        Project management on small and large complex projects

–        Work closely with Principals and senior staff of the firm

–        Mentor and supervise junior staff

–        Manage subconsultants and collaborate across disciplines on projects

–        Develop materials for community outreach and public consultation

–        Regularly communicate with clients and key stakeholders for various projects

An ideal candidate has:

–        Landscape Architect License preferred but not required

–        Public sector work focus (streetscapes, ped and bike facilities, parks and recreational planning and design, and natural resources planning and design)

–        Experience in all phases of Landscape Architecture from master planning, design development, construction documentation, cost estimating, and construction administration

–        Experience with creative 3D and illustration platforms such as Sketchup, Rhino, Revit, Civil3D and Lumion

–        Experience with design and production software such AutoCAD, Bluebeam and LandFX

–        Excellent verbal, written and graphic communications

–        Permitting experience

–        Self-motivated and works independently

–        Solid interpersonal and communication skills

–        Public speaking experience and ability
